One of the technologies that is developing the fastest is the FASTag reader solution. It is mostly utilised for electronic fee collection, in which each vehicle is given a tag. The tag carries a unique signal that is recognised when the vehicle passes through a FASTag scanner. The signal is then sent to software, which adds the costs to the vehicle’s account after calculating the charges based on time.
Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) is the process used to identify the identity. Every car has a fixed tag, which is optically scanned in parking lots and at highway toll booths. On the other hand, it was discovered that optical systems were difficult to read, particularly in the event of inclement weather and muddy cars.
The majority of modern AVI uses RFID, in which a tag placed on a car and an antenna at the gates exchange data. The FASTag gadget, part of the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) initiative, uses RFID technology to immediately collect parking system and toll payments from moving vehicles. There will be less waiting at parking lots thanks to our FASTag parking system. The Fastag reader system eases traffic around the parking lot and can handle the rising volume of vehicles without adding more lanes.
Our reader-based Fastag system will enable consumers to pay their parking and toll payments with FASTag while also conserving gasoline for the future.
